Animal Rehabilitation
Have you found an injured animal? An 'orphan' wild animal? For your safety AND the safety of the animal, we suggest you contact the appropriate agency for your specific animal. They can offer suggestions as to handling the animal and means of transporting such injured animal. Some wild animals that we 'humans' see as abandoned - may NOT be. For various reasons a female may choose to move her young. If she can only move one at a time, it may appear as if the young has been left behind. If "we rescue" these young, it may cause the female to become stressed, neglecting the rest of the litter, looking for her missing young one.
Again we suggest you get information from the rehab facilities on how to handle your situation with wildlife.
Wildlife Catch is not affiliated with any rescue groups. It is our intention to only list reputable, humane wildlife rehab facilities. We do we make claim to monitor the policies of any business or group other than our own. If you know of a great local rescue/rehab facility and you think it should be listed - please send us an e-mail about them. We can always make room for more. Thanks!
